Allysa’s Star Challenge has been added to Webkinz World during maintenance update yesterday.  Go to the Charm Forest and you’ll see Allysa and her magic wand on the left side.  Click on the Fairy Princess Allysa to enter the Allysa’s Star Challenge Game.  Once the program loads and you’re inside what reminds me of a planetarium, you’ll have the option of playing the game or reading the instructions.  We read the instructions first, using the arrows to move forwards or backwards to reread the tutorial. 

The object of the game is to catch stars using the tip of the star catcher. There are 21 of them to collect!  You’ll be space traveling to 3 different galaxies, to collect your stars.  Once you collect all 21 stars you’ll win a spectacular prize!  Look for the shooting stars too.  They’ll award you a special gift

Enter the night skies to start your star collection.  The three galaxies are: Sun Sparks, Glow Flakes and Astro Emblems.  Seven stars are hidden within each galaxy and it’s your job to use your star catcher to catch the stars.  In Sun Sparks you’ll find: Pyro Pearl, Enchantrite, Spectaculight, Zinglow, Webwonder, Illustrolite and Lightening Lantern.   In Glow Flakes you’ll find: Moon Bloom, Divinadime, Deelight, Magmamite, Nocturnite, Frost Flakes, Flouraflite.  In Astro Emblems you’ll find: Lunamite, Twilight Twinkle, Blushing Bulb, Nightnote, Skyprint, Chlorocosmo and Marrowmile. You can keep your stars or trade them with the Fairy Princess Allysa.  The stars you keep will be stored in the Star Collector Carousel and you can buy one for your webkinz room so when your friends come to visit they can view your collections.  If you decide to trade your Star with Fairy Princess Allysa she’ll offer you a Pixie Puck worth KinzCash for your Star.

The best part about this game is you don’t have to buy anything like we had to for entering the Charm Forest.  You don’t need charms to enter this game even though it’s located within the Charm Forest.  The game plays much the same way the Charm Forest and Arte’s Gem Hunt are played where you have to complete a set before you win something. 

Playing the game is easy.  Look at the night sky to find brightly colored stars.  You’ll find Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, White, Orange, Purple, Lavender and Red Stars.  The stars are part of Constellations in the night sky.  Some of the Constellations that we’ve found in our search are: Plumpy, Magic ”W”, Quizzy Bear, Goober, Wishing Well, Zingoz, Miss Birdie, Chef Gazpacho, Pet of the Month Ribbon, Crown of Wonder, Dex Dangerous Space Fighter, Arte, Treehouse, Loader Lounger, W Coin, Kinzville Academy, Fairy, Dr. Quack and Suit of Armor. Using the tip of your Star Catcher, click on the star of your choice and it will reveal the Constellation and maybe you’ll win a star or you’ll miss.  If you are lucky you’ll win a prize!  You get three chances to win a prize each day.  We had no luck today wining a prize.   

 

TIP:  Use all three chances to play at one time.  Do not leave the game.  If you do you may not be able to get back in to use the rest of your plays.   This might be a glitch right now.

HINT:  I’m keeping track of the Constellations and the Colors of the Stars that I click on every day.

Sometimes you’ll see shooting stars flying across the night sky.  Use the tip of your star catcher to click on a shooting star and catch a comet!  Comets hold special items for your pet.  Here are some gifts that have been won by webkinz around the world:  Clothes - Solar Belt, Solar Shoes, Solar Slacks, Solar Jacket, Solar Helmet.  Food - Alyssa Cookie, Star Cookie, Sky Cookie, Meteor Cookie and Moon Cookie.  A Pixie Puck was awarded too but I’m not sure what this is.

                                    

     Collect all twenty-one stars to unlock a spectacular surprise!  Doesn’t that look like a throne on the right?     

As we entered Sun Sparks galaxy we saw billions and billions of bright and shiny stars.  Some were sparkly bright colors and others were brightly lit white stars outlining constellations.  Our first try left of empty.  We missed.  The second try was a bomb.  We were logged out!  Typical of the glitches you’ll find with a new launch of anything in Webkinz World.  Still needs some work Wizards!          

I’ll be adding more pictures as I play in my other accounts.  Alyssa was rewarded this Fairy Biscuit gift.  In our dock it’s named a Meteor Cookie.  We took it to the W Shop to see how much it would sell for.  It’s worth 13 KC.
