WebKinz is Down Again!

June 21, 2007 By: KinzMiss Category: Webkinz No Comments →

I’ve been trying to get in to Webkinz since last night and gave up around 11:00.  Probably an hour too early.  I uncovered information this morning that some one got in around midnight and saw pictures of the Garden Seed Packs, the Chocolate Lab and new Exclusive Items.  The Garden Seed Packs include: Cabbage, Carrot, Corn, Pumpkin, Strawberry, Tomato, and Watermelon.

How Do I Grow Food In My Own Garden?

June 20, 2007 By: KinzMiss Category: Webkinz No Comments →

Well, well, well!!!  Is Plumpy The Advise Hippo starting rumors or are we going to be able to plant, tend and harvest veggies in our own garden? Look at Plumpy Archives, 2nd to last page and read about the garden questions.  Is this a glitch?  Notice, there are articles there about the Clubhouse also.  Also notice Plumpy is sporting her new longer hairdo, not the baldness she had early on.  Go to your room, click on the help button under your phone and read the “Questions about Room” then look for the “How Do I Grow Food In My Garden?”  How about that? Webkinz carrot seedsWe’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for the “How To Grow Your Own Food” guide book and seed packs in the W Shop.  This will be so much fun.  Being able to plant seeds, nurture them, watch them grow, then harvest them and feed them to your pet will just be awesome!  I for one, can’t wait for this new feature.  Hope the Hippo didn’t stay under the water too long.  Here’s to Growing a Garden!!! Where are the Summer Hourly Events?

June 20, 2007 By: KinzMiss Category: Webkinz No Comments →

According to the Front Page Webkinz Newz a few days ago, we’re supposed to have Hourly Events starting at 9:00 A.M., but my Hourly Events are still starting at 4:00 P.M. Maybe the Webkinz Wizards are updating the system as we speak, since I can’t seem to be able to login.  This morning I could get in, but everything thing was so slow.  Please Wait, Please Wait, Please Wait!  I got so tired of Please Wait-ing, I just logged off.  Now I can’t get back in. Anyway, can’t wait for the new Summer hours!  KinzMiss

Webkinz Raccoon and Husky

June 20, 2007 By: KinzMiss Category: Webkinz No Comments →

My hometown store hasn’t recieved the new Webkinz Raccoon or Husky,  but we’re looking forward to adding them both to our family of Webkinz pets. The Raccoon will no doubt live in the backyard along with the Frog where he’ll enjoy dipping his grubby little paws in the Stylish Stone Ponds, the Webkinz W Ponds and Fancy Fountain to hunt for snails or crayfish.  The Raccoon is such a bandit that it’ll be no time at all before he’s raiding the blue Backyard Cooler or his Garbage Can Fridge for his favorite Special Food, the Rascal’s Ratatouille.  (I’d love to see a Tree House offered as a Super Bed.) The friendly and faithful Husky will be rooming with the Panda and Polar Bear in their chilly Winter Wonderland Themed Room.  The Huskies Igloo-shaped Northern Nights Bed would melt into a puddle otherwise.  This muscular furry pooch will need lots of exercise since he’s so full of energy.  Daily walks will be necessary and romps in the play yard on the trampoline or a doggie paddle in the pool will keep him fit and boost his Health and Happiness Meters.  He’ll also work up a voracious appetite and need extra helpings of Frosted Kibbly Chunks to fill up his belly. My Webkinz best friend had a Raccoon the very first day they hit the Webkinz Newz.  How is she able to get her Webkinz pets that fast?  I think she must be an insider.   KinzMiss

What’s a Rare Item?

June 15, 2007 By: KinzMiss Category: Webkinz No Comments →

Rare Items can be purchased from Arte’s Curio Shop and are used to furnish your Webkinz’ house.  If you visit Arte often you might be lucky to discover them.  It’s been said that Arte will sometimes show you the Rare Items that he has squirreled away in the back room.  The Rare Items are never offered at the W Shop but you might get one when you adopt a new pet.  Rare Items are always more expensive than what you can purchase at the W Shop.  I’ve seen items bringing well over 10,000 KinzCash!   I was thrilled today when I adopted my new Cocker Spaniel and found out she was given a Rare Item as an adoption gift!  Her Exclusive Item is a Buried Bone Fridge and as an Extra Bonus gift, she spun the dice and won a Rare Incubation Chamber for the Scientific Theme!  The Buried Bone Fridge was cool enough, but the Incubation Chamber is awesome! The Incubation Chamber is fitted with a comfy pleated bench seat, with enough room for two pets. I’m sure all kinds of new formulas are dreamed up in that Incubation Chamber.  The Incubation Chamber almost resembles the cab of a truck and is made of Titanium, Ti, or some other such metal. (My Webkinz are working now with strong, lightweight alloys for a desalination plant project, so the Incubation Chamber will come in handy when they need a place to brainstorm.)  The protective door on either side of the chamber has a window and a grip to hoist yourself inside.  On top of the Incubation Chamber you’ll find rows of indicator lights and monitoring gizmos.  The same with the front.  A full-view front window allows you to look out into your Laboratory to keep an eye on your concoctions brewing in the Experiment Stations. When Arte is lucky enough to find the Incubator Chamber he said he usually prices them at over 3000 KinzCash at the Curio Shop.  Arte doesn’t come across these Incubation Chambers very often, so they can be pricey.  I’ve never seen one at his shop but I know he has them from time to time.  Timing is everything! Where Did The Wacky Bingoz Balls Go?

June 11, 2007 By: KinzMiss Category: Webkinz No Comments →

This is day 5 and still no Wacky Bingoz Balls.  What’s the deal with that?!?  Over the weekend I had -1 Wacky Bingoz Balls for each game.  I wrote to Webkinz Support twice and they sent back this canned response: “You definitely found something in Webkinz World that shouldn’t be happening. Our technical wizards are going to do their very best to fix it as soon as possible. “  Not that I will ever win the game, but it’s fun to play.  I even have some Wacky Bingoz Coupons that I’ve been accumulating that I’d like to use soon.  So I hope the “technical wizards” figure it out.  I’m going through Wacky Bingoz withdraw! LOL!!!  Now I know how my Mother-In-Law feels when the Bingo Halls close down over the summer and she can’t play! KinzMiss Update:  It took two days, but the Wizards got things straightened out.  I can play again!

What’s the Recipe for Quendidot Buzzitree?

June 10, 2007 By: KinzMiss Category: Webkinz No Comments →

I’ve tried several recipes for Quendidot Buzzitree.  Here’s what it’s not, so you don’t try the same ingredients and waste your money: NOT:
  • Baked Potato, Honey, Corn
  • Hot Dog, Baked Potato, Corn
  • Hot Dog, Baked Potato, Honey
  • Honey, Marshmellow, Lemon Meringue Pie
  • Apple, Honey, Lemon Meringue Pie
  • Candy Apple, Lemon Meringue Pie, Honey
I have more recipes that I’ve tried, but they’re at work and I’m not, so I’ll update this post on Tuesday for more of “What Not to Try”.  My husband thought that since Broccoli looks like baby trees, maybe that’s one ingredient.  Or how about Asparagus?  Not much in the way of food at the W Shop that has a “Q” in it.  But in the written descriptions, two foods mention BBQ or BBQ sauce.  Hot Dogs and Chicken Nuggets.  I was also thinking that “QUE” could also represent cucumber, so maybe pickles are used.  Cucumbers are used in Sushi.  And the Vitamins are Dr. Quack brand.  Hmmmm………  Pumpkin is a squash which has a QU in the name.  So who knows. Have fun cooking! KinzMiss
