We are so tired of winning Charm Candy in the Magical Charm Forest! Is there a dentist on duty in Kinzville? My Webkinz are getting that sticky candy all over their furry little faces. Our trips to the Charm Forest average three times a day and the last time we found a charm was 5 days ago. It seems like an eternity. Food, sap glop and charm candy all week, what’s a Webinz to do?
Here’s some very good news for dealers of Webkinz! Since you’ve been stuck with lots of “older” Webkinz pets from backorders, my take is that Ganz is going to try to help you out by offering a Pet of the Month! I was just reading over at Webkinzinsider that a selected pet each month will become the Pet of the Month and if adopted during that month, will come with special gifts, additional KinzCash, and special Pet of the Month virtual items that are exclusive and can not be purchased or won! The Pet’s of the Month will more than likely be announced in Webkinz World and the virtual catalog. Plus if you go to enter a new adoption that will become the Pet of the Month in an upcoming month, it will ask you if you want to wait.
Since we all now want the newest Webkinz Pet, this will be a way for Ganz to unload their back stock! Great marketing again Ganz!!! October’s Pet of the Month is the frog!
More News this morning, Mouse Pads are in stores now! (Well my neighborhood store where I purchase all my Webkinz never gets new product till several months after the product is announced in Webkinz World.) The newest recent item to be released for purchase are the Mouse Pads. (I think I’ll frame mine and use them as a bulletin board, since I don’t use the mouse pads any longer) These come with a Feature Code that you’ll enter at the Code Shop. The Feature Code will unlock a picture the same as your Mouse Pad and can be hung in your Webkinz room! Be sure to collect all four!

The Black Stallion has a fancy new name. It’s now called the Black Friesian. If you own a Black Stallion with the original name, it will still be adopted as a Black Friesian. The Pet Specific food or Item will not change.

After entering the Feature Code of the 24th Webkinz Charm, the Grand Charmling Tree was placed in our dock and was then transplanted into the Kinzmet flower garden along with the Fairy Falls Fountain. Danny Kinzmet is also wearing the Crown of Wonder.

What is a Charm Forest?
Webkinz World has a brand new activity for your Webkinz pets. The adventure starts in the Code Shop where you enter the Feature Code from your Webkinz Charm. The Feature Code that comes with your charm will unlock a prize from the Code Shop. By unlocking your very first Webkinz Charm you are now on your way to unlocking Good Fairy Pixie Pods in the Magical Charm Forest which contain charms or other prizes.
How Do I Enter the Feature Code?
First you must have an active Webkinz World Account and you must purchase a Charm from your favorite Webkinz dealer. Once you are inside Webkinz World, click on the Things To Do list, then click on the Code Shop.
Find your Feature Code on the teensy slip of paper packaged under your charm. (For those of us over the age of 50, put on your bi-focals!) It contains a combination of 16 random letters and numbers. Click on the first box under Enter Code Here and begin plugging in the code.
(The very first Feature Code I entered was from my Webkinz bracelet. I unlocked an Exclusive Charm Credenza at the Feature Code Shop. However, the bracelet did not allow me entry into the Magical Charm Forest. Only a Charm will. )
Once you place the Charm Credenza in your room, walk your Webkinz Pet to it and click on it. My nosey Wallow the Hippo just couldn’t wait to see how many Charms we collected. You will see your Webkinz Charm Collection after you’ve started to unlock the Charm Feature Codes!
Now, on to unlocking my first Charm Feature Code!
The first Charm that I purchased was the Wheel of Wow Charm. I was playing with my Pink Poodle, Rosa Kay-Nine at the time I entered the Feature Code in the Code Shop.
When I entered the Feature Code, I won a virtual Wheel of Wow Charm and entrance into the Magical Charm Forest plus a Charm Tree display case for my room. The virtual Charm will be collected and stored in the Exclusive Charm Credenza that I won with the Feature Code from the bracelet and the Charm Tree display case. Plus you can view your Charm collection once you are in the Magical Charm Forest.
How Do I Gain Entrance to the Magical Charm Forest?
First you must purchase a Webkinz Charm, enter the Feature Code at the Code Shop and then enter the Magical Charm Forest.
From the Code Shop you can enter right into the Magical Charm Forest by clicking on the “Visit The Magical Charm Forest” picture on the lower right side of your screen. Or click on the Charm Forest button in the Things To Do list.
What Do I Do Once I’m in the Magical Charm Forest?
To gain entrance into the Magical Charm Forest, click on the “Time to Collect” Fairy or “Fairy Falls”. Once you are inside the Magical Charm Forest, you’ll need to select one of four pathways into the forest of your choice.
I clicked on the entrance second from the right with the stream flowing from it. Once inside, the Fairies were flying amongst the trees and I had to take the magic wand and choose one.
I continued my search through the Charm Forest for just the right fairy by clicking on the left or right arrow.
And at the end of my scavenger hunt I came across the wishing well and thought I’d click on the Fairy in front of it!
But alas! Wrong choice. It was a Bad Fairy in disquise! Man was I bummed!
How Often Can I Enter the Magical Charm Forest?
After you have purchased one Webkinz Charm, have unlocked it in the Code Shop using the Feature Code that comes with the Charm and have searched for one Webkinz Forest Charm in the Magical Charm Forest, you may enter the Magical Charm Forest again in 6 hours to try to find another Virtual Forest Charm!
On my 2nd try, this is what I found!
The Charm Forest Bad Fairy Shirt was placed in my clothing dock for my Webkinz to wear. It’s not a charm, so it’s not added to your Forest Charm Collection.
For my third Forest Charm hunt 6 hours later I thought I’d try a different Charm Forest pathway. The one I chose has blue stepping stones leading up to the forest. This forest is very pretty with pink, blue and green crystals cropping up off the forest floor. And purple flowering trees. They must be Jacarandas! Maybe I’ll call it the Crystal Forest. Strange that the entrances aren’t named like the Gem Mining caves.
I was happily surprised this time when I clicked on a good fairy and revealed a Pixie Pod that had a Drum Charm in it! My first Forest Charm!
How Do I View My Forest Charms?
Once you have opened a Pixie Pod containing a Forest Charm, click on the Yellow OK button with your Magic Wand. The Charm Forest Collection page will pop up showing the location of your Forest Charm. The Forest Charm will be placed on one of the Pixie Pod “Necklaces” surrounding a bonus box. The Drum Forest Charm was placed in the lower right Pixie Pod Necklace and the letter “s” in the word BONUS is highlighted.
Each time you uncover a Forest Charm, you’ll see it appear in another purple Pixie Pod in a Pixie Pod Necklace and the corresponding letter in the word BONUS will be highlighted.
(I thought I had gotten jipped out of one of my Forest Charms since it didn’t show up in the Forest Collection. I found it later on the second page! Click on the next button to take you to 20 more purple Pixie Pods.)
Click on your Forest Charm to see a larger version of it appear in the Charm Preview window to the right.
HOW MANY FOREST CHARMS ARE THERE?
In this series there are a total of 40 virtual Forest Charms. To unlock all 40 Forest Charms you must enter the Feature Code from 8 different Webkinz Charms. (Remember, the bracelet and necklace Feature Codes don’t count toward unlocking Forest Charms.)
HOW MANY WEBKINZ CHARMS ARE THERE?
In this series there are 24 Webkinz Charms. The Feature Code from each Webkinz Charm will unlock a Virtual Charm which your Webkinz Pet can wear! After the 8th Charm is unlocked you will also win KinzCash! Click on the Charm Bonuses Tab and review the left side of the page to see what bonuses you will receive with each Webkinz Charm you purchase and unlock. For the 9th and 10th Webkinz Charm you’ll receive 100KC. For the 11th-13th you’ll recieve 200KC, 14th and 15th, 300KC.
Your 16th Webkinz Charm comes with a Fairy Falls Fountain. You’ll find it in your dock and it can be placed in your room and outside. For the 17th-19th, 400KC, 20th-23rd, 500KC. For your 24th unlocked Webkinz Charm you’ll receive a Super Exclusive Charm Forest Item!
The 24th Charm that I unlocked came with a Super Exclusive Charm Forest gift for the outdoor yard! It’s the Grand Charmling Tree. If you look closely at the branches of the tree, you’ll find it decorated with Pixie Pods!
What’s a Pixie Pod?
A Pixie Pod looks like a decorated Easter Egg and they are located in the 4 Charm Forests in the Magical Charm Forest! Do the Forest Fairies lay eggs? Or maybe it’s the Rainbow Zingos that live in the forest. They sort of look like birds or funky chickens.
Now, we’re on a quest to bursting Pixie Pods in the 4 Charm Forests every six hours to add to our collection of Forest Charms. You can really get some neat prizes. Mostly what we’ve gotten so far are the Charm Forest Bad Fairy Shirt, the Charm Forest Good Fairy Shirt, Charm Candy, 100 KC and Keys. I love it when the Pixie Pod contains a key. The Key unlocks a secret door hidden within the forest which will reveal more Pixie Pods! So far we’ve had up to 5 Pixie Pods appear when the door was unlocked. Only one time did we receive a Forest Charm. So far in the few weeks we’ve searched the Magical Charm Forest, we’ve collected 9 Forest Charms. The Crab, Drum, Crossed Paddles, Sailboat, Lighthouse, Cupcake, Ice Cream Cone, Umbrella and Crystal Ball.
Here he is gang. Just announced today in Webkinz World and just in time for Halloween! He’s a seasonal addition to the Webkinz World family of virtual pets. This plush little cutie will be hard to find. I sure hope my local gift shop has her order in now. He’ll come with his own Witch’s Brew Bathtub and his Special Food is Fried Batcakes!
Ha, ha…….I don’t know why, but looking at the green slime in that bathtub reminded me of the Girl Scout song that goes something like this: “Great big globs of greasy, grimey, gopher guts!” LOL! I know…I’m losing it.

I stopped at my favorite neighborhood Webkinz store again today and asked about Trading Cards and Charms. The store owners’ phone has been ringing off the hook asking when she’ll be getting them. She’s had the Trading Cards and Charms on order for months and was told that since she has a great account, her merchandise would be shipped first! So why doesn’t she have the Trading Cards and Charms?
I’m losing faith in Ganz. If they can’t produce the product and ship it to their dealers in a timely fashion, then why even advertise it. None of the other stores I have checked out have the new Charms either.
So what’s the deal, Ganz? Don’t create the buzz if you can’t live up to your promises.
