        My Best Friend Deborah sent us a Kinzpost today.  There was a gift package containing Pumpkin Soup!  I rushed to the W-Shop thinking there was a new food item added to the Food Category.  But I couldn’t find it there.  So I though I’d try to put the Pumpkin Soup in the Haunted Refrigerator to save it for dinner I couldn’t store it in the fridge.  Then I thought maybe it’s new home decor and flew back over to the W-Shop to look in the Decoration Category.   No Pumpkin Soup.  So back to our Spiderweb Room we went.  I tried to place the Pumpkin Soup on the Coffee Table Tomb but You-Ka Liptus, my Webkinz Koala, was seated next to the table and before I knew it, he gobbled it down!  The Pumpkin Soup was gone!  Since You-Ka Liptus thought the Pumpkin Soup was so yummy and wanted more I surmised it must be a New Secret Recipe! With a little research though I uncovered that it’s actually a Fall Festival gift!  Deborah must be very busy clicking on Falling Leaves during Fall Festival in Webkinz World!  Thank you Deborah for sending such a nice gift!  I know it’s difficult to give up something that you only get once a year.

    WooHoo!!!  Today at the gift store I found a completely full rack of Webkinz Clothes.  I swore I wasn’t going to go that far and start another obsessive compulsive collection, but hey,  a girl’s got to have some fun sometimes!  So I picked out the Pumpkin Costume as seen in the KinzStyle Shop.  This Pumpkin Costume feature code gives you the matching online Pumpkin Costume for your Webkinz Pet.  It says on the bottom of the package that this items fits most Webkinz Dogs and Cats, but my Black Friesian Webkinz saw it first, tried it on and guess what?  It fits him!  Here he is sporting his new Harvest Fruit Hat that he won this morning when he clicked on a falling leaf during this weeks Fall Festival, the Bee Costume pants, Bee Costume Shoes and …. Drum Roll Please… Tah Dah, the NEW PUMPKIN COSTUME!!!! The Pumpkin Costume also came with a KinzStyle Bag that you open in your room.  It unlocks the KinzStyle Shop and allows you to purchase an outfit of your choice.  We chose the Witch’s Hat to compliment the Pumpkin Costume!

At 8:06 while in the code shop a yellow maple leaf floated by and he clicked on it and won this beautiful handcrafted Corn Husk Doll.

   The Fall Festival runs today through October 26th.  Start clicking on those colorful Autumn leaves as they blow through Webkinz World and you’ll win a terrific prize that you can’t get anywhere else! 

 

 My Webkinz Dutch Cocoa and Darque Shadeaux were spooked by the eerie sounds outside their Haunted Dungeon Gate late last night.  Further inspection revealed glaring red eyes from something very terrifying just beyond the strong bars and chains that strained to hold the gate closed.

Get your Haunted Dungeon Gate at the W-Shop before they’re gone.  In stock until Oct. 31st or while supply lasts!  Remember it’s interactive and costs only 1800KC.

The much anticipated Fall Festival starts Saturday, October 20th and runs through the 26th!  At anytime, anywhere watch for the wind to blow leaves through Webkinz World.  Be sure to click on the falling leaf to win a fantastic prize that you can’t get anywhere else.  Remember the falling snowflakes last winter and the comfy knitted sweater and hot chocolate you won?  Same idea!

Spiky Sedge Soup upper left corner in Haunted Refrigerator

        My BFF Deborah sent me some Spiky Sedge Soup on Monday this week!  (We always send each other the Pet’s Special Food when we adopt a brand new pet.  It’s our way of letting each other know we’ve adopted a new Webkinz Pet!  She’ll invite me over soon to see her new Santa Sleigh.)  I was shocked that she was able to purchase the Reindeer so early!  Webkinz World announced the release of this seasonal pet on Thursday.  I wonder how Deborah is able to find her Webkinz pets so early.  She always has hers way before I can buy mine at the store and before they’re announced in Webkinz World.  My retailer probably won’t have the Reindeer Webkinz in stock until the week before Christmas! (She finally got her shipment of Webkinz Black Cat’s this week!  What’s with that? And she’s even a “Gold Customer”!  Go figure.)   I’m secretly hoping my husband has ordered one for me and will surprise me with it soon.  I always tell him when Deborah has adopted a Newly Released Webkinz.

I’m so glad we don’t have to go to our rooms anymore to open our mail!  You’ll notice now the small mailbox in the lower right corner of your dock next to your KinzChat Phone.  If there’s a number on your mailbox, you’ve got mail in the mailbox!  Click on your little mailbox and a menu will open to show you if you received a package or a letter!  You can also view up to 10 already viewed letters or packages.  If you don’t have any mail the mailbox door will be closed and the flag down.  Although I’ve noticed that the flag is still up and the door is closed but there is no new mail.  Maybe it’s because there’s already viewed mail still there?

Have you been trying to purchase a Webkinz Charm at your local gift shop, only to find they are out of stock?  Me too.  The owner of the shop where I buy all my Webkinz said that she can’t even order Webkinz Charms right now.  The Charms weren’t listed on the order form, so she couldn’t even order them!  Then I remembered that the Charms are made in China.  Oh No!  Could it be a problem with the paint?

 The Fall Festival is coming to Webkinz World October 20th - 26th.  Wow, maybe there will be new arcade games, festive food like Kielbasa and Funnel Cakes ( I just hope they don’t use the Flannel Cake recipe like my sister did one year when she tried to make Funnel Cakes for a  family picnic.  She just couldn’t understand why her Funnel Cakes didn’t turn out right, HA, HA) or maybe new clothes like Hiking Boots or Scarves for those chilly Fall days.  What would really be great would be a new Outdoor Room Theme with Sliding Board and Merry-Go-Round and how about a Leaf Covered Lawn and Mums for the Flower beds plus seasonal Autumn Wallpaper.  If you look closely at these pictures you’ll notice some colorful trees in the background and pumpkins scattered on the grass.  What’s that crazy Monkey doing hanging upside down from the branches of the tree!  Maybe we’ll be able to climb this special interactive tree!  As part of our daily gardening, maybe we’ll also have to rake leaves!  You know how we love to jump in piles of leaves.   We can’t wait to participate in the Fall Festival.  Count us in!

 

 

 

“We’re sorry, the Webkinz Clubhouse is currently closed to visitors.  Please try again later.”  We’re very hopeful that this message posted in the Clubhouse means our Clubhouse will soon be open.  The KinzChat Plus area was being revamped to make it a safer playing area.  Keep watching for the door to your favorite Clubhouse to open soon!  I wonder if this is why the KinzChat phone hasn’t worked for several days.
