As part of our daily activities today we won the Gladdugrumble Secret Recipe.  Chef Gazpacho has really been busy cooking up a storm in the Webkinz Institute for Culinary Arts!  (WICA for short, ha, ha).  It looks to me like there’s Spaghetti on that plate but I could be wrong.  Are those Mr. Potato Heads?  Darque Shadeaux will have to slave over his Witch’s Brew Stove and try to recreate this delectable wonder.

       Have you been to Quizzy’s Question Corner in Webkinz World today?  You will just love the new question and answer section listed under Everyone.  “The Environment” is chock full of educational tips.  How can our Webkinz help The Environment you might ask?  Our Webkinz have been ecologically minded all along.  They compost the weeds and trimmings from their garden and farm.  My Webkinz farm even grows enough surplus corn to supply the local Ethanol plant!  To cut down on pollution our vehicles are all powered by Ethanol now but we try to ride our scooters or walk as much as we can. Recycling has been an ongoing project in our Webkinz household especially since we’re getting Newzpapers delivered everyday.  We’re even very conscientious about the products we purchase from the Curio Shop and the W-Shop, trying to furnish and decorate our rooms as “green” as we can.  Have you noticed the acid rain damaging your Hippo Topiary or the Fairy Falls Fountain?  Yes, it could be true!  Acid rain is effecting our Biosphere and Ec0-system.  All living things are feeling the effects of pollution.  Hmmmmm…..Just look at how many extinct Webkinz there are now.  There are 9!  Could it be Webkinz World Warming?  I don’t know.  All Webkinz need to do their part in protecting their natural resources and conserving energy.  We love the fact that The Environment questions in Quizzy’s Corner are addressing such issues.  We can change things, one Webkinz at a time! 

Here’s a picture of the Slipinsip drink in my new Haunted Refrigerator.  We whipped it up using the blender as suggested over at Webkinzinsider.  Try using: Banana, Iced Tea and Jelly.  This makes a very yummy drink.  Have you noticed that the last several recipes solved are still the artists drawings?

The New Halloween Themed items are available now at the W-Shop until October 31, 2007.  My Webkinz Black Cat, Darque Shadeaux is enjoying his favorite afternoon show, The Secret Chef with Chef Gazpacho on his brand new Mausoleum Television.  He’ll be able to watch some spooktacular TV shows! The Creepy Bed is bewitching and sure to send shivers up his spine as he crawls into spend his day snoozing. Have you really looked closely at the Jack-o-Side Table?  It’s frightful face lights up and is just the ticket for your dreadful decor. The kitchen is decked out with the fearsome Haunted Refrigerator and Witch’s Brew Stove.  We’ll be cooking up some strange brews and eerie potions on this creepy cauldron.  All the ghoulish meals will be served up on the Giant Spider Dining Table. The interactive Crystal Advisor Ball will give you ghostly guidance and is perched on the Phantom Trophy Pedestal and the Gargoyle Desk.  And our volume of spooky stores and terrifying tales fill the Gargoyle Book Shelf.  He’ll be able to curl up on the Gargole Sofa for some comfy reading. No haunted house would be complete without a few cobwebs.  The Giant Spider Webs lurk in the corners of this horrifying house.  And the haunting sounds you hear are from the ghosts playing the Haunted Organ.  And who knows if the Wicked Witch of the West will go flying by the ghastly Gothic Window. A new feature was added to Webkinz World today.  Your webkinz will become even more brilliant and physically fit by going to Kinzville Academy. The Kinzville Academy is now open and it’s time to take your Webkinz to school! You’ll have three classes to choose from to start: Weight Lifting, Running and Painting with more coming very soon!  There are a TON of super skills for your pet to learn. Ms. Cowoline is the school superintendent and she will lead you through the Kinzville Academy brochure where you can find out about the badges your pet can earn, the actions they’ll be able to do and the upcoming pet competitions.  Now your pets can go to school too!

   If you were lucky enough to adopt an October Pet of the Month Frog and win a Lurking Lagoon make sure you take a close look at what is swimming in the depths.  My Dalmatian Buttons was romping in the backyard and thought he’d check out the Lurking Lagoon.  Not much happening there, so he started to walk away and up jumps this fish with a snail head!  No Kidding. Here’s a snapshot of it.  It’s a cute looking fish with antennae or something.  Maybe it’s a Shark.  I think we’ll call it a Snark!
