March Pet of the Month is the Lil’ Kinz Pig.  You’ll get a special loot bag full of surprises that you can’t get anywhere else when you adopt the Pet of the Month.  An Exclusive Gift will come with your Loot Bag and starting new this month, Webkinz World is including a “Token of Appreciation”.  You’ll find this extra special Wish Token gift in the Pet of the Month Loot Bag.  The Wish Tokens are so cool!  What are the Wish Tokens used for?  You can’t spend them, you can’t trade them or even sell them at the W Shop.  So start collecting your Wish Tokens and stay tuned to find out how you’ll be able to use them.

What does it take to get a perfect score of 20 in the creativity painting class?  This surely looks like an exact replica of the artist’s rendition to the left.  For the background yellow splatter our student, Darque Shadeaux used speed #4 and filled the dropper to full.  For the outer blue splatter he sped up to #12 and the dropper was filled to the third line on the dropper.  Darque Shadeaux has never gotten a perfect score of 20 and sometimes even misses the minimum required score of 15 altogether, even though he’s a very smart black Cat.  He’s at level 5 and has only 5 more classes to complete for the badge and unlocking the special Pet Skill on the Action Panel.  

Darque Shadeaux is such a smarty pants.  He’s completed level 5 in Running and received the Special Pet Skill Rollover in the Action Panel and he’s completed level 5 in Weightlifting and received the Flip Special Pet Skill.  The Flip Pet Skill comes in handy when he’s playing on the trampoline in the Garden Yard at the clubhouse.  Webkinz come running with amazed looks on their faces when they see him doing flips or rolling over.  It makes him giggle and smile.  Come by garden room #12 in the yellow zone sometime.  You might see a Black Cat named Darque Shadeaux flipping out!

New Rare Theme hits the Curio Shop.  Visit the Curio shop to find the brand new Ancient Civilization theme that is also available by unlocking the Trading Card 2.0 feature code.  The Ancient Emperor Statue and the sleek stony wading pool are my favorites so far.  We’ve unlocked the Ancient Wading Pool.  See my January article Ancient Civilizations Rare Item Found! .

And of course the Super Newz from the W Shop is about the totally awesome Superbeds. The two new addtions are the creepy The Monster Under the Bed and the floral Bed of Roses. You get to choose from fifteen Super Beds with your tenth, fifteenth and twentieth adoption and every fifth pet after that!

Also Crafty Kimmy is still looking for brilliant ideas to add to Crafty Critterz.  Crafty Kimmy is now looking for springtime recipes and crafts.  So put on your thinking cap, it’s never to early to start thinking about Spring and all the yummy new secret recipes that can be created.  Crafty Kimmy is looking forward to hearing from you!

Here’s a sneak peak at the Love Cat’s Pet’s Special Food.  A pink heart shaped cat dish filled with what looks like little pink hearts and little white hearts with a dollop of whipped cream in the center with a pink heart on top.  Could be that the hearts are made from mice and marshmellows with a topping of frothy milk and finished off with heart shaped candied tuna in the center.  I wonder if the Love Cat will be available in stores this year?  Too late now for this Valentine’s Day. 

Congratulations to me!  I’ve unlocked my first special figure for my pet’s room.  I’ll also receive a super special object for my pet and since this is my first figurine, a display box where I can show off all the figures I’ll be unlocking.  My first figure is the Cool & Casual Pinto horse.  After opening the plastic box that the Cool & Casual Pinto horse came in I found the secret feature code and entered it in the code shop.  I checked my dock and found the super special object that comes with the Pinto horse.  It’s the Totally Bogus Bean Bag Chair.  Also since this is my first figure I also saw the wooden display case in the dock as well plus a virtual Cool & Casual Pinto figure to put in the display case!

Once in my room, I positioned the Display Case on the wall and brought in the Totally Bogus Bean Bag Chair.  The multi-colored fabric is reminiscent of the retro tie-dyed ’60’s era!  Cool Man! 

Unfortunately though there must be a glitch with the display case.  I clicked on the display case, dragged my Pinto horse to place it in it’s proper space and I was logged out of Webkinz World.  I’ve tried several times to get the virtual horse figurine in the case with no luck. 

I’ll be unlocking the Brushing Up Hippo and School Time Terrier next.

        As a Valentine’s Day Gift I recieved a Webkinz Himalayan but I didn’t adopt him until today and I’m so glad I waited.  Here’s Al R Gee, my husband is “allergic” to cats, in the yard with his brand new Antique Lamp Post Exclusive gift!  The Antique Lamp Post is one of five brand new Exclusive adoption gifts.  Other new Exclusives include the Webkinz Theme Music Box, Ambulance, Giant Leaf Chair and Giant Sandwich Table.  Superbed fanatics like me are thrilled to find two more Superbeds to choose from.  The Monster (Under The) Bed Superbed and the Bed of Roses Superbed. I love this outdoor room.  There are so many Exclusive items in it.  The Elephant Fountain and the Love Frog’s heart-shaped Love Pond are two interactive water features.  The Shrubbery Sleeper Bed and Deck of Stone Dining Table are from the Trading Card Series 2.0 Gardeners Game Theme code prizes.   Sparkling Potted Icicle Trees and Googles Ice Sculptures from this year’s WinterFest accent the landscape along with the Circle of Friends Topiary.   Plus the Duck’s Wetland Pond Bathtub is always open for a quick dip.

It’s what we’ve all been waiting for.   Two New Superbeds and 5 New Exclusive Gifts are now available in the W Shop Exclusives.  The Bed of Roses Superbed and the Monster (under the) Bed Superbed can be yours once you’ve adopted your 10th Webkinz or each additional 5th Webkinz or Lil’Kinz thereafter.  If you are a super collector like me, the desire for these new Exclusives has been a long time coming.  We also have 5 brand New Exclusive Gifts!  Look for the Giant Leaf Chair, Giant Sandwich Table, Ambulance, Webkinz Theme Music Box and Antique Lamp Post.            But when something is added something must go, so Webkinz has retired 3 Exclusive items.  Hold on to your Giant Venus Flytrap, Undersea Porthole and Jelly Lollipop Tree.  For those of you that don’t have these items they might eventually pop up at as Rare Item at the Curio Shop or you’ll have to get them in trade.

The Bed Of Roses Superbed is designed with iron-scrolled headboard and footboard with heirloom red roses entwined through the ironwork.  I love the Chenille green bedspread and dustruffle.

Monster (under the) Bed.  The Red-eyed monsters are chained up under the bed for a frightening night’s sleep.  This bed would look terrific along with the Haunted Dungeon Gate and Haunted Creature Floor available last Halloween.  I wonder too if we’ll have new paint coming soon in the W Shop.  Look at the sponged tan walls!

 

I don’t have a sound card to hear the cute Webkinz Theme song that plays in the Webkinz Theme Music Box, but Ms. Birdie dances and spins while musical notes float by.  The Giant Feather Chair is soft and silky.  It hovers in midair like the Magic Carpet Couch. 

Five brightly lit lamps will light your way with the lovely Antique Lamp Post.  I hope to get one of these for my Webkinz Yard.

Ever want to ride an ambulance?  Now you might have the opportunity.  A new ambulance might be yours with your next adopted Webkinz.

I love this Giant Sandwich Table made with whole wheat bread, lettuce, tomato, ham, cheese and pickles.  This will go great in my Diner Themed Room.

Albie my Lil’Unicorn was out this morning gardening and came across the Exclusive Donut Plant growing next to the watermelon. ( You can only get the packet of Donut Seeds when you adopt a Pet of the Month.  We got the Donut Seeds in our Pet of the Month Loot bag this month when we adopted the Webkinz Cow.)  The Donut was ripe with Chocolate Icing and multi-color Sprinkles.  She giggled with joy and filled her harvest basket with the sweet confection.  Albie couldn’t wait to taste it.  She rushed back to the Webkinz Manz and shared the yummy goodness with her Kinz Family.
