Haiku contest comes to Webkinz World.  Super Spring Haiku Contest runs from April 26 - April 29, so get your entry in early.  Winners get 500 KC and a writing trophy.  To enter the haiku contest, click on the “contest” button in the  idex and enter your haiku poem in the blank area.   So write your imaginative and creative Spring poem, first line consisting of 5 syllables, second line 7 syllables and 5 syllables in the third line.  Three winners will be selected.  Good luck!

Who said Pigs can’t fly.  Pink Poodle Bazooka was in his room and decided to do some grocery shopping.  The W-Shop food list screen was up and then a friend invited me to come to her house.  All of a sudden behind the invitation screen, then the W-Shop screen I saw the head of a flying pink Pig wearing an aviator hat!  Was it my imagination or is this part of the Webkinz Extravaganza Blowout Event!  I wasn’t quick enough to click on the pig head so I missed out on the gift item.  I’m going to try to get back into Webkinz World now.  I’ve been logged out several time this evening.

Over the past few months we have seen a rise in the number of members who have been selling and auctioning off online items (such as pet specific items and exclusive items) and even whole Webkinz accounts.We want to make it very clear that these practices are in direct violation of our User Agreement and are strictly forbidden. Any account used in the selling of online items or listed for sale or auction will be terminated, without notice, at our discretion. We are very serious about stopping this activity. Note that this includes the practice of claiming that the virtual item sold is “free”, while selling something of little value. Members are free to conduct in-world trades of Webkinz World items as they choose, but for no outside compensation of any kind, financial or otherwise. Trading through KinzPost is not secure though and we do not recommend the practice. We will be adding a secure item-for-item trading feature to Webkinz World in the coming months. We recognize that many items in Webkinz World are hard to come by and that trading may seem difficult, but we must ask that all members abide by the User Agreement and keep all item exchanges within Webkinz World itself.

Webkinz Day Extravaganza is being celebrated a day early at my nearby Webkinz retailer.  The shop owner decided not to buy into the promotion but is offering her own specials.  Buy two Webkinz, get one free from a grab bag plus a bag of candy or a cup of coffee or cookie for the adults is starting today and going through Saturday.  I was able to pick up an April Pet of the Month Pink Poodle and a Hippo and for my Free Webkinz I grabbed a Reindeer. I adopted my April Pet of the Month Pink Poodle today and named him Bazooka (after the pink bubble gum of course).  In the Pet of the Month Loot bag we were lucky to recieve the animated Playful Picture for our wall, a Wish Token, a W-Shop Coupon for 40% off any item,  856 KinzCash and the Webkinz Secret Recipe Bubbaberriboo!  In addition you get the regular adoption gifts.  The Pet Specific Item for the Pink Poodle is the Pink Convertible the Pet Specific Food the Pink Poodle Parfait.  The Exclusive adoption gift we got is the Zingoz Bubble Blower.  This is also an animated toy for your room.  Just walk up to Zingoz and he’ll start blowing bubbles.  As a bonus gift we recieved the rare Caesars Chair from the Ancient Civilizations rare theme that you might also get by unlocking the feature code of the Webkinz Trading Card Series 2.  Wow did we make out like bandits!  That’s a lot of Loot!  Thank you Webkinz World for all our cool gifts! 

In our kitchen today we used the BLENDER and whirled together Apple Juice, Root Beer and Sushi for the new Webkinz Secret Recipe Ocean Bubblyglub.

Today Arte said stop by at 6 pm KT.  He’s got something we’ll like.
