Webkinz announced the June retired pets today.  We’ll be sad to see you go!  Webkinz Leopard Lizard, Webkinz Elephant, Webkinz Tiger Snake, Webkinz Rhino, Webkinz Samoyed and Webkinz Black & White Cheeky Dog are the plush pets that Webkinz World has let go.  My gosh, I just adopted the Webkinz Rhino and Webkinz Samoyed in May and they’re leaving us already!!!  Holy Schmoly, that was quick.  If you don’t have the Webkinz Elephant you might want to try and find one real soon since he’s also the June Pet of the Month and you’ll recieve a Loot Bag full of Exclusive goodies with this adoption.  Remember, if you adopted a Webkinz that is being retired you can still play with your Webkinz in Webkinz World.  A retired Webkinz will no longer be manufactured once they are sold out in the stores.

New game at the Arcade hones your math skills and you’re under a time limit.  Check out the new Get Eleven Solitaire card game.  At the start of the game there are 3 cards showing. In this case a 10, an A worth 1, and a 5.  If any two of these cards add up to eleven click on them to remove them from the group.  If not, does the card on the top of the deck help you?  In this case the card on the deck is an A.  If the card on the deck and one in the group does not equal eleven,  click on the left card on the deck to flip it over and see if that cards helps you get to eleven.  Here you have two choices.  Click on the 10 in the far left group or the A in the top middle group.  Or as a second choice the 10 in the far left group and the A on the deck.  If you score 200 points you win 1KC.  Clear 5 groups in a row and win a bonus card that helps you clear the last group.

Wow!  Two more brand new Webkinz Super Beds.  I have the feeling I’ll be adopting 10 more Webkinz so I can add these comfy Super Beds to my collection.  All aspiring Picasos and Monets will love the Artist’s Pallet Super Bed.  And there’s nothing  better than Mom’s Apple Pie.  Don’t you just love this Apple Pie Super Bed!  I can smell it now.

To sellect a Super Exclusive Super Bed you must adopt 10 Pets.  With the adoption of your 10th Webkinz and each 5th Webkinz thereafter you get to choose a Super Bed!  Remember, you can’t buy a Super Bed at the W Shop, but you might be lucky enough to receive one in trade at the Trade Room in the Clubhouse.

 

 

Are you there yet?  My Himalayan got to Level 5 today in Grooming and it took us by surprise.  Now there are two bangs to cut and curl and color and ribbons to be tied.  You’ll still need to braid, curl, straighten and cut the other tresses too.  We almost ran out of time with this one because we were double checking the hair length and still needed to shorted our hairdo.

The multi-use features of your phone are currently out of service today.  Kinzpost still works but you can’t get into the Clubhouse or play in the Tournament area.  Look for new features when the update is complete.  Maybe KinzChat Plus will be up and running??? 

Webkinz Pink Google, Webkinz Siamese Cat, Webkinz Lemon-Lime Gecko and Striped Snake were adopted by my BFF Deborah.  She sent me their Pets Special Foods and I sent her a cute adoption gift in return. Webkinz Pink Googles eats the Jumbled Googles Caboodle, Webkinz Siamese Cat eats the Succulent Tureen of Sardine, Lemon-Lime Gecko eats the Locust Leckerli and the Striped Snake eats the Seasoned Mole Dariole. Looks like lime slices on the Locust Leckerli dish along with the tempura batter dipped Locust. 

The Codes worked that I just got from the Webkinz eStore.  I thought I’d show you pictures of the Blast Off Rocket Bed, Picnic Basket Bed, Railway Dreams Train Set and Large Garden Waterfall.

Here’s the Picnic Basket Bed, Blast Off Rocket Bed and Railway Dreams Train Set.  All of these must be used indoors.  The Large Garden Waterfall must be used in your outdoor yard.

The Webkinz eStore Large Garden Waterfall is in the corner.  Buffie wants to practice her doggy paddle.  We love it because like a lot of the water features it is animated.   We used the Blast off Rocket Bed in our Tall Bedroom.

I wasn’t quite sure where to use the Picnic Basket Bed.  Here it is on the beach.  It’s always fun to have a picnic on the beach, play a little badmitton and go for a swim in the surf.  Thank you Webkinz Customer Support for all your technical assistance.  We thought we were losing the battle.

It’s mid afternoon the day after I didn’t receive my Webkinz eStore Feature Codes.  I FINALLY got a response from Ganz.  My last email went to the address below:  WebkinzeStoreCS@ganz.com Here’s the reply I got back from customer service: “Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. You emailed us about an issue you had with your recent Webkinz eStore purchase. We recently incurred some technical difficulties with regards to purchases made at the Webkinz eStore.  The issue has now been resolved and you can find your feature codes for your new exclusive items below.” (Yes, the were attached) “We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to your continued business. Thank you, Webkinz eStore Support” Now I’m off to try the feature codes.  Wish me luck.  They better work!

Don’t order from Webkinz eStore.  I just did last night and I did not receive my feature codes.  I emailed customer service with the email address they have you respond to and the email came back to me.  I then used the customer service button and filled out all the required information.  Now I’m waiting 24 hours for a reply.  I might also have to call my credit card company and all that mess.  Grrrrr…..why can’t they just produce a product that works right the first time!!!!!  I’m really getting ticked at Ganz over all of this and other things too.  They’ve got my money, I’ve got no product and it’s even a virtual product at that!  What’s the deal!  As an update:  Still no word from the eStore about my order.  I know, it’s only 12 hours later, but still.  I’ve checked my order history and still no codes.  The status is: processing.  I was checking other forums last night and I’m not the only one with this problem from the Webkinz eStore.  I sure hope they are fixing the problem, but I’d sure like a response to my email.  Hello……Anybody HOME?????

Get your Virtual Exclusive Items at the Webkinz eStore.  Exclusive Virtual Items can now be purchased using real money, your credit card, at Webkinz first ever Webkinz eStore!  Do you love the items you get when you adopt a new Webkinz Pet or do you love to unlock Feature Codes from Trading Cards?  Well now you can buy them online at Webkinz eStore!  For all those “Second Life-ers” out there, now’s your chance to cough up more money to impress your Webkinz friends online.  If you have more Webkinz Plush Pets than you care to shake a stick at, I have over 5 garbage bags filled with them, now you don’t have to buy the pet or anything else tangible to win an Exclusive Item.  To me, Webkinz is all about the Items you can win.  Either from Arte at the Curio Shop or as a Feature Code from the Trading Cards, Pet Carriers or what have you or the Pets Specific Item.  Now we don’t have to run to the store to buy something, (there’s something wrong with this picture) how sad for the retailers especially now that our economy is in the toilet anyway, we can buy a Virtual Exclusive Item online!  Will this hurt our Retailers?  Heck Yeah!  When a Webkinz sells for $12.95 and a Lil’ Kinz for $7.95 and you don’t want the Plush anyway because you already have over a hundred of them laying around or in garbage bags, you can get an Exclusive for half the price without having to buy a real life item!  The Retailers will get the rug pulled out from under them I’m afraid. You can’t buy a Virtual Webkinz or Lil’ Kinz yet but I’m sure that’s just around the corner.  So many Webkinz Plush pets are being retired and with the over stock of Classics being dumped during the Webkinz Care Promotion at Walgreens, it makes you wonder if any Plush Pets will be manufactured in the future.
