 We’re still on vacation at the Webkinz Tropical Island.  We were filling our pail with sand today during our treasure hunt at Coral Cove.  Digging holes at the beach is fun and building a huge sand castle with a mote all around.  We decorated our sand castle with red spikey coral from Coral Cove.  With our bathing suits full of sand we wandered over to The Souvenir Shack and made some purchases from that surfer dude Sheldon.  The Island Bunny Bobblehead and Shorline Side Table and Compass Side Table were some of the Souvenirs we got today.  We found these on several of our accounts.  The Island Bunny Bobblehead is an animated nodder.  Very cute bunny wearing sunglasses.

We were so hungry after all that shopping we headed back to Coral Cove for a snack at the Buffet in the Tiki Hut.  Fish and Chip, Nachos, Lasagne and a sandy Flip Flops were offered during our visit.  Eating at the Buffet is a little tricky.  The food can’t be taken to your dock for eating later.  NO CARRY OUTS allowed.  So eat from the buffet during your visit.  Sometimes it takes several visits to the buffet to get your fill.

Having problems with Webkinz Don’t Rock the Boat game on the Webkinz Tropical Island?  Me too.  I click on the Board the Ship sign and get stuck in the game and have to log out and login to Webkinz to continue.  My second try at the Don’t Rock The Boat was a success.  If you find yourself adrift or aground, just log out and login again and play the game again.  It’s a little glitchy.

Sheldon managed to wake up long enough to price some new items for his Souvenir Shack today.  New on the shelfs were Flip Flops, Straw Skirt, Pineapple Hat and Ship in a Bottle.  We purchased the Straw Skirt, Pineapple Hat and Ship in a Bottle.  The ship is animated in the bottle and rocks on the waves.  The Pineapple Hat has a sippy straw that’s tapped into the two island fresh pineapples to each side.  Chamberlain put the Inflatable Palm Tree in the outdoor yard and he’s ready for a luau in his Straw Skirt and Pineapple Hat.

Surprise Saturday’s Hologram Projector is the Ultimate and coolest creation ever.  Watch as All Things Webkinz appear and disappear before your eyes.  Kind of a mix between the Holodeck and the Transporter on Star Trek.  Wow, wouldn’t it be the most Extreme Room Ever if we could have a HoloDeck Theme Room?  We already have a Space Ship, UFO and a Space Suit!!!  The Hologram Projector really is the neatest Super Exclusive Item yet.  Keep those creative juices flowing Webkinz Wizards!

Next up for Suprise Saturday is the Hover Car.  This Red futuristic car with a classic style hovers like the Hot Air Balloon and the UFO.  I have so many Webkinz vehicles but I guess you can never have too many!

Surprise Saturday charms today are the Pig, Wheel of WOW, White Terrier and Yorkie Charm.  All Charms are $1.50 each.  I wish I would have waited to get these Virtual Charms instead of buying the real deal at the store.  Oh well, something else to add to the clutter!  LOL!

A Pirate Ghost scared the stuffing out of my Webkinz Monkey on the Don’t Rock the Boat game on Tropical Island.  “Eeeeeeee” screamed Chamberlain as the Ghost floated across the deck.  Chamberlain became very unhappy, so much so that his happiness meter went to ZERO!  I’ve never seen this happen before.  We’re trying to increase the happiness meter by playing games as suggested in the message.  We ate at the Buffet table at the Tiki Hut in Coral Cove and that increase our happiness 4 points.  Wheel of Wow and Smoothie Moves combined only increased the meter 7 points.  I just don’t know what to do to cheer up Chamberlain.  OH WAIT.  We’ll take him on a Spa Getaway!  That will bring his happiness meter back to normal!

You saw the ghost and got quite a fright.  You need to go and play some games to make your pet happy again.

 Our recent visit to the Vacation Tropical Island Souvenir Shop made us happy.  We filled our cart with only 2 items this time around.  The Fishing Hat for 50KC and the Model Jet Plane for 95KC.  The other items that Sheldon offered were not new since our last vacation and we didn’t need duplicates.  Chamberlain is sitting in his Monkeys in Space Room showing off his new Fishing Hat and Model Jet Plane.

Renaming your room just became easier however this new system won’t allow for cleaver name choices.  Here’s an example of Chamberlain’s room choices.

While in your room, click on MAP and click the RENAME button then the room you’d like to rename or name.  Choose one section from each drop down menu and hit OK to rename your room.  The right side menu gives you descriptions of the room such as All Purpose Room, Kitchen, Backyard, Bathroom, Cave, Classroom, Bedroom, Cove, Den, Dining Room, Gallery, Garage, Garden, Greenhouse, Hall, Hideaway, Lair, Living room, Maze, Movie room, Mud room, Museum, Nursery, Office, Playroom, Rec room, Restaurant, Salon, Sitting room, Spa, Spare room, Store, Studio, Track, TV Room.  The left menu gives tells you who’s room it is.

This is a no-brainer selection and we’ll miss the chance to come up with silly or clever names for our rooms.  So much for “thinking for ourselves” and using our imaginations!  HELLOOOOO……..

Shutterbugs are we!   Gotta Love this Tropical Island paradise in Webkinz World.  Fun and Games abound.  We’ve been winning prizes of Secret Recipe Foods, Buying Clothing and trinkets at that Dude Sheldon’s on the beach, sending postcards and decorating our Beach Bungalow with souvenirs from our trip.

So far we’ve won Webkinz Recipe foods Pineapple Breezy Freeze and Chocolate Fools Gold.

 We purchased the Sailor’s Shipping Crate and the blue Sunshine Sun Hat from the Souvenir Shop.  That Sheldon is a real Beach Bum.  You can only buy three souvenirs from him and he calls it a day.

 We won the purple Pirate’s Hat and bought the Inflatable Palm Tree and yellow Straw Hat from Sheldon.  The Conch Shell was a Prize from the Vacation Wheel. I love the Calyso Music.  Real Island theme stuff.

Have you seen the live Volcano on the Tropical Island?  The Volcano glows red and black smoke and steam curl out of the top.  No Lava flowing from the Live Volcano so no worries mate.
