Here’s what I found out this morning about the feature codes on the Webkinz items sold during the Webkinz Day Extravaganza 2009.  Retailers are required to purchase 250 pieces of Webkinz to participate in the Webkinz Day Extravaganza.  The feature codes on those pieces bought in for the Extravaganza are only good for one week!

Last years Webkinz Day Extravaganza was celebrated in April around the 29th.  With these bad economic times I’m sure not as many stores will be participating in the festivities surrounding Webkinz Day.  There will probably be a Webkinz Day Extravaganza Store Locator posted in Webkinz World and hopefully updated for 2009.

Webkinz Caring Valley is running promotional Ads for their new and upcoming Signature Pet Panda.  The Panda is the first in the series of this new venture by Ganz’ Webkinz World.  Here’s a sneakpeek at Webkinz The Caring Valley and what it has in store.  Adopt a Signature Pet Panda in April and something magical will happen.  As an added gift you’ll recieve an Enchanted Tree for your Webkinz yard.

My retailer said she’s only getting in 2 of each of these Signature Pets since they cost $25.00 each retail.  She thinks with these economic times that the buying public will not pay that kind of money for a plush pet.  I might buy just one to see what Caring Valley is all about.

Webkinz Blue Googles will make it’s debut in May 2009 according to the Webkinznewz last week.  I told ya so!  Back in November 2008 I wrote an article about a Zoogle of Googles.  They even coined my Signature Webkinz phrase!  Take a look at what I said about the Webkinz Blue Googles! Maybe Ganz really does read my articles! 

I’ll say it here first, a Webkinz Zoogle of Googles! Webkinz Googles.  A much overlooked Webkinz Pet I think.  But this wiggly-snouty Webkinz has grabbed the heart of KinzMet.com.  I think that the Webkinz Googles is the Signature Webkinz of Webkinz World.  Don’t you agree?  He’s a very friendly, bouncy yet docile mascot. Even the WEbkinz Cats love him!  So far he comes in frizzy White fur and frizzy Pink fur, but I’d like to see a Webkinz Blue Googles for my Webkinz Sky Themed Room and a Webkinz Plaid Googles.  How about a Red Googles and a Yellow Googles?  I dont’ recall any real Lemon Yellow Webkinz Pets.  A dark Purple Googles and an Emerald Green Googles for the Charm Forest Theme Room would be fun.  I’d love to see a Zoo of WebKinz Googles sitting around the Thanksgiving Table in my KinzManze.

MY PAGE is Customizable!!!  How do you customize MY PAGE? 

Go to the THINGS TO DO list and click on the MY PAGE button. Once MY PAGE loads, click on the MY PAGE Tab.  From here click on the CUSTOMIZE tab in the upper right corner. A grid pattern will cover your DESIGN.  At the top of the page you’ll see a bar of icons starting with the purple KinzCash Price Tag. Hover over the price tag or any of those familiar icons.  A dropdown box will appear.  Now hover your mouse over anyone of those choices.  Your selection will be highlighted in orange.  While still hovering over your selection, click and drag your mouse to the grid where you would like to place your widget.

Just like in your room when you are redecorating and moving furniture, the square or rectangle to position your widget will turn green.  If the square or rectangle is red it won’t fit in that space and you’ll need to move something out of the way or find another area for the widget.

Once you have positioned all your widgets, now you can EDIT what you want your Widget to say or look like.  Use the EDIT Tab at the top of the page to change the look of your Widget.

Here’s a quick sample of MY PAGE with my Floral Fox Asterz.  If I want to move my widgets I can!  This is fun and we’ll be able to change the face of MY PAGE when ever we want to.

In todays WebkinzNewz.com, Ganz reported that all the troubles with Webkinz adoptions should be fixed.  Corrections have been made, so if you were holding off adopting a Webkinz like I was, feel safe in adopting your pet now.   

I just adopted the Webkinz Pelican and named him Diving Pete.  Here he is looking through the interactive Seaside Peli-Scope.  An overlay screen will pop up when you click on the Seaside Peli-Scope to show you a close up view of Webkinz by the Seaside playing Volley Ball, Sailing, Sunbathing on the Beach, playing in the sand, enjoying the surf and just having a great time by the ocean.

Webkinz Domino Cat is so darling.  Have you seen this white and black feline at the store?  We love cats at our house and collect them all.  Decorate the kitty’s room with the Domino Effect Area Rug.  Invite friends over for Delectable Domino Cookies  and a bowl of milk.  We love the Pet Gift box tied up with pink ribbon and cute kittycat ears on top.  If you love cats you will just fall in love with this sweet Webkinz Domino Cat!

Webkinzjr.com is coming soon!  Take a tour of this brand new upcoming Webkinz Junior-sized site.  It appears there will be large plumpy pets are well as the lil’ plumpy pets.   Ranger Kenny Moose & Bunny Miss Lily the teacher along with their Webkinzjr family of dogs, cats, monkeys and chimpanzeses are sure to be fun and educational for your child.  Is that a Cheeky Cat sitting on the lawn?

During the tour you’ll find out how similar WebkinzJr.com is to Webkinz.com. but on a scale that your 3-6 year old will understand.  Your fluffy adopted pet will recieve a house with playroom, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, front yard and backyard.  In the playroom many items will look familiar too.  A toybox filled with toys that will encourage motor skills, learning, listening and having fun.  There’s furniture, a welcome balloon, picture on the wall and television too.

In the Neighborhood your WebkinzJr can walk to the Park, Kinz PostOffice, Caring Center, W Shop, Playhouse and School.

Ranger Kenny Moose is in charge of the Park.  There you can play Tag, Hide & Seek or just have fun on an adventure using your own imagination.

The W Shop is stocked full of items to buy for your new house like furniture to decorate with, food to eat and clothing to wear.

The Playhouse is an Arcade-style game room with games simple enough for your young child to play.

Miss Lily Bunny runs the Little Acorn Academy.  This is where your child can learn math skills or read a story book and draw pictures.  Each class is customizable to the learning level your child is comfortable with. 

Look for the WebkinzJr. fluffy plump plushies to start hitting the retailers very soon.  Just in time for EASTER!!!  WebkinzJr in all the Easter Egg colors of purple, blue and pink.

Webkinzjr will be hitting stores next month.  Look for these fluffy soft plump Webkinz pets for your youngsters.  Unlock feature codes to enter the world of WebkinzJr. and play the game.  Toddlers will need some assistance to get started but will get the hang of this new Webkinz version quickly.  We look forward to seeing what the new Webkinzjr.com will be all about.

Have you seen the ads for the Webkinz Signature Panda appearing in Webkinz World and in Webkinz Newz?  The Signature Panda is due out in April 2009.  We’ll have to watch the Webkinz Newz to see what the story is about this new line of Signature Pets.  The picture looks much more life like than the regular Webkinz Pets.  I’m sure they’ll be more expensive to buy at the store.  And maybe they’ll be like the Pet of the Month and come with a very special gift.  Hopefully there will only be one Signature Pet available a month and not 5 or 6 like the regular Webkinz Pets.  For the super collector it’s impossible to keep up.
