Frog Dayz of Summer!
No doubt about it, the Frogs are at it. Peeping, chirping, grunting, croaking, grunking and gracking. It’s the Frog Dayz of Summer!
Today we catch up with the Webkinz Frogs at Long’s Park where they’ve all gathered to frollick, jump, leap, swim and dive in the local watering hole, have a picnic and just take it easy for the day. The sign in the parking lot said ” Frogs Only, All others will be Toad”, so Arb O Real the Tree Frog manuevered his Swamp Runner Fan Boat into the tight parking spot. He saw the Bull Frog not far behind driving his sporty Big-Top Go Cart. There’s plenty of room for both of them. Verdi Leggs and her mom Boggs had just crawled out of Googles Scrying Pond where they spent the night bobbing around, ever watchful of the silly neighborhood Alley Cat that visits the pond every night. Boggs and Verdi Leggs spent the morning harvesting Farm Fresh Vegetables from the garden so they were ready for a good rest. But Verdi Leggs just couldn’t get enough swimming and was contemplating leaping into the Elephant Fountain! Spotted Frog had been up all night preparing Spotted Shrimp Scampi for her day out, but had to cheat and use Key West Shrimp instead. “It’s what’s in season now”, she croaked. All the Frogs spread out their blankets under the canopy of the Jelly Lollipop Tree and feasted on Tree Frog Fly Soup as an appetizer, Savory Swamp Stew and the Spotted Shrimp Scamp as the entree’ and Buggy Jelly for dessert. Then they slept. Just another quiet, lazy day in the life of a Frog.
