Kinzmet

We just adopted the Collie to our ever growing Webkinz Family.  The Collie’s PSI is the Ossilily Plant.  Today we planted the Ossilily Plant in our vegetable garden and we’ll be watering it every day and watching it grow.  I guess we’ll be harvesting Collie doggie bones!  The Webkinz Collie’s PSF is the Collie Lolly.  Our Collie will need lots of baths to clean his sticky face since I’m sure he’ll have a lickin’ good time slurping up that Collie Lolly.

Here’s a Collie story:   As a young country girl I can remember the day my sister Paula was outside playing in the dirt lane in front of our house.  At the same time our farmer neighbor Mr. Shirk was driving his tractor in the lane to go plow the fields in the meadow just beyond.  Our neighbors Collie Buffie whom we all adored and treated us kids like her own pups, saw the tractor coming in the lane, saw Paula playing in the lane and came bounding to the rescue!  Being the good nanny that she was, Buffie stood her ground between Paula playing in the dirt and the Mr. Shirk driving the tractor.  Buffie barked her head off until Mom came runnng.  Mr. Shirk of course saw what was going on too and stopped the tractor until mom could scoop up my sis.  Paula was always the “bad one” but today was her lucky day.  Buffie got a good treat, probably not a Collie Lolly, and a nice pat on the head since she was such a good girl.  So in tribute to our Nanny Buffie, I’ve named my new adopted Webkinz Buffie.  You might see him romping around the Garden Yard 12 one of these days soon!   

(Update on Ossiliy Plant planted on 11/21/07.  It’s now four days later the plant has not sprouted.  It also does not require any watering or raking.  Hope it’s not a bum plant.)
