YoVille!!!  I just had to do it!!!.  Webkinz Fanz will also love other APPS and here’s one I’ve gotten hooked on.  YoVille is an Application I found on Facebook.  All my friends are playing it, so I thought I’d give it a try too.

Now I’m not a YoVille Insider but I will start a blogroll about my findings, what I’ve learned and YoVille Glitches I might find.  So here goes.

Like Webkinz you will be decorating your rooms in YoVille.  But you don’t have to buy a plush toy or other accessory to get a secret code.  You just start playing the game.  You start out by naming your avatar, dressing it, picking facial features and a hairstyle.  Then you go to your Apartment of rooms.  You start out with a simple single story, one-bedroom condo with one bathroom that’s furnished with a few peices of starter furniture. Later when you level-up another bedroom, bathroom and hallway are added. 

The idea is to decorate and furnish your apartment by earning coins doing jobs, visiting your friends and playing games.  Sound familiar Webkinz Fanz?  The more coins you earn the more you can buy.  There’s the option too of using real money to purchase items as well, just like at the Webkinz Ganz eStore.

The idea is to add “crew” members or friends which you’ll find at the bottom of the screen on the “ladder”.  That way you can go visit their house, do activities at their house and earn coins.  If your neighbor is home you can chat with your neighbor too.

Earning coins of course allows you to then go to the YoDepot & Furniture Store to buy decor for inside and outside your Apartment.  Use coins at the Fashion Store much like the Webkinz Kinzstyle shop or the W Shop to buy the latest fashion and dress your avatar.  You can get a new hairdo at the  Salon.  Boost your energy/hunger level at the Coffee Shop, Vinny’s Dinner Gifts or Sky Nightclub.  Send friends or yourself a gift from Gifts & Flowers shoppe.

Once you level-up and earn lots of coins you can also purchase Houses from the Realtor Office Estate.  Choose from Two-Story Cape Cod Style Home, YoVille Realtor’s Rancher, YoVille Realtor’s Trailer, the YoVille Realtor’s Home which right now is a seasonal Haunted House, Mafia Don’s Mansion, Gothic Home, Contemporary Home, Tree House or a Police Station.  Some of these homes requires real money to buy.  These fancier homes come with lots of space, more rooms, balconies, attics, roof rooms and backyards.

At the YoVille Furniture Store you find seasonally available items and themed rooms.  Anything you could want is available either at the Furniture Store or the YoDepot for inside or outside your house.  Even down to wallpaper, flooring and curtains, pillows, rugs, kitchen appliances and swimming pools and stuff to float in your swimming pool.  They even have LAVA LAMPS!  Cracked me up when I saw those, since they’re so hard to find in Webkinz World anymore.

YoVille has a pet shelter  too.  Most pets at Pete’s Pets like the dogs and cats and tiger must be purchase will real money.  The Coins will buy you a parrot or Chinchilla.

Games right now are fairly limited.  Rock-Paper-Scissors and Tic-Tac-Toe will earn you a few coins if you win the game.  There’s a Speedway for racing, a Fishing pier for fishing competitions and a Casino where you can blow wads of money or win if you’re lucky!

So anybody with an addiction to these room decorating games, YoVille will keep you occupied for hours on end if you let it!
